Irdina, May You Rest in Peace, Al-Fatihah...

It was a heart-breaking news that I found out today - a friend's daughter passed away after battling with cancer and she was 18 years old.  The day when Muslims celebrated Eidul Fitri. The saddest part is I've made cupcakes for her upon his order a couple of days before and I never get to meet her. I still remember him saying, "Please make the prettiest cupcakes". I know those aren't the prettiest, but I really do hope that she liked it. Izzuddin Shah, I am sorry for your lost and Irdina, may you rest in peace and may Allah bless your soul.

Raya, oh, raya orders...

Eidul-Fitri season is here and so are the orders for them chocolate chips, pineapple tarts and honey cornflakes. Did get a good amount of orders this year and as usual, I didn't get enough sleep for a few nights. 


Something did happen when I delivered some of the orders today - I automatically couldn't keep my eyes open when I was driving on the way to Ampang area (somewhere near Lookout Point), lost my way there although I'm familiar with the place, went back to PJ, still driving dangerously sleepy and guess what? I accidently hit a car near the SS2 roundabout! I guessed I dozed off at the wheel, and the next thing I heard was a loud thud in front of me! My car kissed the behind of a Land Rover, and left a dent there. Mine had a mere scratch. The guy was quite pissed off but I got away with it.  Luckily it was jammed, else I would have skidded at the next lane or a big drain even! A frightening thought that is. 


Anyways, moral of the story - Do not drive when you are sleepy, duh! XP
